On August 6th, 1945 an American B-29 bomber dropped the first atomic bomb over a Japanese city called Hiroshima. The explosion wiped out 90% of the city and it immediately killed 80,000 people. Then America dropped another atomic bomb on Nagasaki. It killed 40,000 people. Finally even Before the war even started there were already scientists many of them refuges who were studying atomic energy.
