This short animated film explains the major events and logistics of of World War II. When Germany took over Poland Britain and France got involved in the war but didn't take any action. Germany continued to try to expand throughout Europe. The united States finally got involved after Japan bombed Pearl Harbor . I thought the video was very educational and easy to follow. It does a good job of giving information from a neutral standpoint and not being bias. The videos animation makes it easy to understand and pay attention too MLA Citation: YouTube, YouTube, 14 Oct. 2016, m.youtube.com/watch?v=HUqy-OQvVtI.

Summary and Reflection: This source is a black and white picture that illustrates an explosion occurring with soldiers not far off in the distance. the source gives an idea of what it ways like due the war. In my opinion I think this source helps people imagine the effects of war. Even though it simple the black and white picture gives off a surreal tone and helps put you in the situation of being in war. The explosion in the distance helps illustrate the violence and chaos that occurred during this time. Summary and Reflection: This source gives a brief overview of the events that take place during World War II. The source describes the war as the most “widespread and deadliest war in history.” During this time an estimated 85 million people died and more than thirty countries got involved in the war. World War II went on for six years until the allied powers finally defeated Germany and Japan. After reading this source, my initial thoughts were that six years seems like a long time to stop a war that was as deadly as World War II and that their should've been more of an effort to defeat Germany sooner. I think that it's really sad to think about all the people who died and the people who had to tolerate the war during their life time. Going forward people need to take measures to prevent war in order to preserve lives and prevent destruction. Although the source is short it does a great job of explaining the basic details and events of World War II. MLA Citation: History.com, A&E Television Networks, www.history.com/topics/world-war-ii.
