Something I think you should know about me is that I am currently in the process of learning Korean. Someday I would like to travel to South Korea and not be confused on what people are saying. One thing that will help both my classmates and teacher get to know me is if we just be ourselves. The link is a description on Hangul, the alphabetic script in which Korean is written.
Now some people may think I'm weird for listening to K-Pop/ Hip-Hop but everyone is different. At first, I was like most of you. Korean music is stupid, there's no point, I will never like it. Well I actually gave it a chance and the music is surprisingly amazing. The link is a short clip from my bias group. Well aside from that, my hobbies include playing soccer or my instruments. My favorite movies are The Sandlot and Train to Busan. My favorite tv show is Grey's Anatomy. Lastly, my favorite book is I'll Give You The Sun.
I really value my time. I am usually occupied with band. Going to practices five out of the seven days of the week, having competitions, football games, and performances that may keep me out late. I have really learned to value my time. The link is a blog on this specific topic.
As I said in my previous link, band has really been an amazing experience for me. One thing I am extremely proud of is how far I have come. Starting out in seventh grade, I wasn't the best at clarinet, but with practice I have come far.
One of my all time favorite subjects in school is band. Honestly, being in band here at the Colony has helped come out of my shell. When I entered this school I was a little, shy freshman. It has only been a year and I've met so many new people and made a few life long friends. Above is a seven minute video of what our daily practices are like.
In the future, I would really love to travel to Seoul, South Korea. The reason being, some of my favorite music music groups are from there and I would also like to experience the life style there.
This year my goal is to get through my sophomore year without slacking off and without any distractions. After I graduate from Anaheim High School, I would love to attend the University of Southern California or USC. I'm heading towards becoming a surgeon.
If you are an auditory learner, you learn by hearing and listening. You understand and remember things you have heard. You store information by the way it sounds, and you have an easier time understanding spoken instructions than written ones. You often learn by reading out loud because you have to hear it or speak it in order to know it. Everyone has a different style of learning. Mine is when my teacher isn't very strict. They're kind of laid back, but also kind and respectful to their students.
